How It Works – 詳細

The language exchange takes place from 2:30pm to 5:00pm every Saturday, in the following format:
ランゲージエクスチェンジは毎週土曜日に2:30pmから5:00pmまで行われています。

2:30 – 3:30pm – English hour or Japanese hour (英語の時間または日本語の時間)
3:30 – 4:00pm – Announcements and break time. (アナウンスメント・休憩時間)
4:00 – 5:00pm – English hour or Japanese hour (英語の時間または日本語の時間)

Whether we start with the English hour or the Japanese hour first depends on the week. During this time, try to speak as much as possible in that language with your group!

英語の時間または日本語の時間、どちらかが先に始まるかは、その週によって違います。その言語の時間はできる限り、みんなとその言語で話してみましょう。

How do you organize groups?部屋に入ったら？

When you come to the JCSA, you are free to choose any table you want to sit. If you aren’t able to find a table on your own, one of our ushers will be happy to escort you to a table. Since this exchange is a drop-in event, we are not able to organize and match groups based on level-but if you have any concerns/requests, please let our ushers know and we’ll help as best as we can.

JCSAではたくさんのテーブルを用意しています。お好きなところに座っていただいてかまいません。もしご自分でテーブルを見つけることができない場合は、スタッフがご案内させていただきます。JCSAのランゲージエクスチェンジは予約は必要ありませんが、英語のレベルによってテーブルを振り分けるということはしていません。なので、もしなにか質問やご要望があれば、スタッフにお伝えください。

Most of the rules are common sense, like not harassing other people, no soliciting your business etc. However we have one important rule you should know:

こちらにJCSAのルールと行動規範を載せています。
ルールのほとんどは常識の範囲内で守っていただけるものです。（例えば、ほかのメンバーの人への迷惑行為や、ご自身のビジネスなどへの勧誘等などはご遠慮ください。）
しかし、１つだけ最も守っていただきたいルールがあります。

お互いの電話番号や、メールアドレス、フェイスブックの交換をしないで下さい。

How do I join? どうやって参加するの？

To participate in the language exchange, you need a Membership. If it’s your first time, you can take a trial for only $2. Should you decide to become a member, this $2 will be deducted from your membership fee. Please click here to go to the Membership page for more information.

ランゲージエクスチェンジに参加するためにはJCSAのメンバー登録を行っていただきます。もし参加するのが初めての場合、２ドルでトライアルを受けることができます。その後、メンバーとして参加したい場合は、通常のメンバーシップ料金からこの２ドルを差し引かせていただきます。詳しくはこちらをご参照ください。
